Welcome to the war « Thread Started on Mar 13, 2008, 4:20am »
(Continued from 'A hunter & her prey')
Torquemada & Constance walked through the ravaged streets of the Paytah Boulevard, Torque was coming into relisation of where he had 'crash' landed though it was almost hard to believe.
Back when he was on mainlands he had heard stories told of a great war between two kinds of demons one that had lasted millenia's, He started to suspect these stories were real & he was in fact caught right in the middle of this great war.
"So whom is winnin' dis so called war ya speak of love?" Torque asked Constance as they walked through the burned out streets..
(Im just assuming they were 'continuing' a conversation)
----------------------------------
Jarra'h stood atop a burned out building from a great distance, he was hiding and stalking the two vampire, His far sight told him that the girl was the leader of the vampire's but he didn't recognise the man.. 'Damn where are some of my brothers when you need them' he thought as he considered an attack or not..

(I'm including Fenris in this; hope you don't mind.)
Constance's senses were in an uproar. Even though she had managed to keep a normal conversation with Torque going for some time now she was damn certain that they were being followed by someone. But the annoying aspect of this was that she hadn't been able to spot the spy, so she could not tell what or who it was. She was rather relieved that she managed to keep a calm and easy facade. She didn't know how he reacted to such things yet, and since she still hadn't been able to spot the intruder and in consequence didn't know if it was only her mind playing games with her, she kept her quiet on the matter.
Torque was walking next to her, talking. "So whom is winnin' dis so called war ya speak of love?" he asked. "Why, the Roses, of course," Constance answered, a smile playing on her lips, "what did you expect? We can't let those filthy dogs take over Paradise Circle now, can we?"

Fenris walked along a small alley. He kept whistling to himself, quite lost in thoughts. He'd walked around like this for ages; just walking along with no goal or reason to why he was out there. He felt that he couldn't return to the Hotel just yet. The place had changed since Miko disappeared - for some reason he couldn't find any peace of mind there, and would end up walking in circles in one of his rooms, trying to exorsise his demons so that he'd be able to go to sleep or do something worth doing without loosing focus. Normally he'd probably have a drink or so about now, but he didn't really feel like it just yet. He followed a turn in the road and walked past a few houses. His restless mind had wandered off again, and so he almost crashed into the two vampires. It took some time for him to fully comprehend what had happened. He swore under his breath. B- e- a- utiful. Constance Keat and one of her filthy minions. That was just like his luck. The initial shock was waning quickly. He put up a mischievious grin. "Good evening, milady." He bowed, irony and sarcasm tainting all his movements. He kept his eyes on the pair, looking for their reactions and watchful for any signs of violence. You never knew with them bloodsuckers. "A fine night for a stroll, don't you think? Such a fine night sky - the moon is quite glorious to behold. It almost takes my breath away, that's for sure. Well, I must be off. I've got some howling to do." He flashed them both a wide smile (he hardly could keep from laughing aloud, seeing their faces) and took a step toward another alley on the other side of the street.

(Open invitational right?)
Julian was new town, well this part of the Island at least. This was as far he could go, this was his so called "Last port." After being chased and hunted, this is where the animal inside the man came to rest.
Truth be told, there was no where else left to run. The vampires were thick and over ran the Island, the animals as they were called were too few and broken into smaller groups each with leaders and underlings. Being a lone wolf was hard, especially when when in a war your own your own side. No friends, no allies to help you out, no-one to safe your life. The upside if any, everyone was your enemy... Everything is so black and white, so crystal clear, but why didn't it feel that way?
With the giant moon in the sky the young man felt the beast swell within his chest, wanting any reason it could find to claw it's way out of him, to tear itself from his body and into sink it's rage and fury into the first bit of flesh that crossed his senses. Lifting his right arm to his chest he placed his fingers under his blacksilk shirt, popping away the top three buttons as he did so. His long slender fingers touching the skin as his fingers dragged to rest where his heart was, where he could feel his heart race for no reason. Maybe the thrill of being free, no longer hunted for his crimes on the other side of the Island.
What ever the reason, he felt good and safe which was silly for a Werewolf in a vampire infested city, where not only the blood suckers hate you but the other wolf clans don't know you or even like you. Shaking the thought, the 5'10 man wrinkled his nose and flashed his teeth openly at the moon as he drew to the end of the street, his hazel eyes growing wide as his pupils grew with the ring of light from the moon, grasped in it's awe Julian found himself lowering his head in some sort of defeated manner, all the while gritting together his jagged teeth for reasons he could not understand let alone fathom.
With nothing but the clothes on his back, the young homeless man walked the streets aware of this, although he was not useless or unarmed for that matter. He still had that monster inside of him, living under the surface, wearing and using him for a mask and a farce for the monster's murder drenched and blood soaked intent. Biting his lip the young man walked on, forcing his feet to move, it had nearly been two days with out stop. With out any real food or drink, it was hard to breathe and see let alone fight off over whelming odds.
Still, weakness was only shown by the weak or so he was taught. Keeping this mind Julain walked around three more corners intil he came to something that looked like the market gardens, a few people walking around, each with sickly scents and false looks about each other. His boots dragged him to a full stop, stones rolling under his heels as he kicked them a few paces forwards.
His shirt and pants waving in the cold night air as he stood there silent and unmoving, watching the little crowds of people as they scurried to their homes or other places. They were more scared of him than he was of them, there was no way these people would know whom he was and what he done, especially the chapel massacre.
His darkest moment to date, there was blood and body parts everywhere, even just thinking about it makes it feel like it was yesterday. Causing the young man to hug himself in brutal reaction, hating himself for it, but hating the hunters even more. Frustrated, blinded by the pain in his heart and the fury of the monster inside of him a ungodly, if not close to demonic roar left the young man's lips as he caved to his knee's in exhaustion, it was then Julain realized in himself there was simply... Nothing left.

(So sorry bout the late post I been busy with work, how are you?)
"Why, the Roses, of course," Constance answered, a smile playing on her lips, "what did you expect? We can't let those filthy dogs take over Paradise Circle now, can we?"
Torque smiled, wether this was true or not he couldn't yet tell but it was the answer he had expected..
Suddenly a man stumbled out in front of the two, He looked surprised then pulled it off with a slight bow & said.. "Good evening, milady." "A fine night for a stroll, don't you think? Such a fine night sky - the moon is quite glorious to behold. It almost takes my breath away, that's for sure. Well, I must be off. I've got some howling to do." He managed to flash a grin and made hastily off down the oppisite allyway..
Torque raised an eyebrow and turned his head to Constance,
"Ma lady?" He said deep voice holding a questioning tone.. Since crashing here on this island Torque had felt as though it was all a dream, only now did things seem to start and seem a little more real..
His hand moved and brushed over his beretta checking it was still in it's holster he then crossed his arms & stood ready to protect this girl.. He rememered who he was before she bit him but still for some reason that pissed him off he felt he owed her for something..
--------------------------
Jarra'h eye's focused, It was that kid from back in the gang house.. He reminded Jarra'h of himself, Yet kept away from the boy.. Last thing he wanted in this hell hole was friends..
If this rogue wolf had any honour in his bones he might prove useful, Jarra'h started a full pace run and jumped a gap between buildings landing in a roll he quickly came to his feet and jumped into the street where the other's stood facing each other.. He landed with a sudden thump crouching.. Feeling the shock in his knee's he cringed but slowly rose fighting down the pain.
Standing now next to Fenris and opposite from the two vampire's he relised the size of the un familiar male & also the guns he had on him.. He instantly got excited as thoughts of owning these guns came to mind..
"Well well well.." He said, "Constance" Jarra'h nodded, He glanced to Fenris nodding then looked at Torqumada also nodding..
His hands moved to his jean pocket and he pulled a ciggarette lighting it and saying..
"So, I came here to talk buisness,"
He put across the notion that no harm was intended and for now he just wanted to talk.
