She looked around at the old city. It reminded her of something out of an old horror film. The tall gray building's casting shadows along the ground in a erry sort of way that would raise goose bumps on her arms, if she could. Gulping she moved along the smoke stained side walk's. This place had been amazing once upon a time.
He had told her about it after the fact. Paytah had been one of the reasons she had been turned. Not for the love she felt for him, but for his fear of her turning on him. If she had known then what she knew now.. she would have run.
Shaking her head she pulled her long red hair back into a pony tail and moved the length of a building letting the shadow bath her in its comfort.

Dean could remember how the city used to look, before all this hell had found them. The memory was faint, blurred around the edges, a child’s memory, but it was all he had of the way his home used to be. The buildings were tall and gloriously white, their windows shining like diamonds against the cerulean sky. There was no shortage of plants and trees, even in the city. The air was clean and on a clear day you could see the shore with its white sand and cool, clear waters. Dean remembered playing on that beach when he was very young. He also remembered killing on that beach, as of recently.
He hated the demons for ruining everything. For destroying and dirtying all that had once been so good and clean and good.
He sat with his back against the burnt side of a devastated building and tried to sharpen his memory of how the view would have looked if those beasts had never came. It wasn’t often that Dean allowed himself to just sit and do nothing but ache for his home, as opposed to doing something about it, but today seemed like a good day to do just that.

Kerrigan grumbled. She was dirty and starving and had no idea where the hell she was. The only reason she had come this way was because she had been following Dean's scent. It made her even more irritated that he was no where in sight.
She didn’t see anyone as she walked the streets, which was disappointing. She was hoping she could find a human to snack on. Ralph had always made sure Kerrigan had something to eat. He even let her kill a servant once in a while—if they displeased him.
She had been living a wealthy, safe, trapped life. She had always wanted her freedom and now she had it, and it was making her miserable; she had no food, worn-out clothes and no place to call home. The sooner she found Dean the better, but she’d better find a source of food first—otherwise she’d rip his human throat out.

(((sorry guy's been in and out of the Hospital for the past few weeks))
she stopped moving and looked around as the light breeze brought a new sent to her nose. She cocked her head slightly as she backed up into the shadow's. If she could smell them.. they could smell her, witch wasn't a grand idea. Biting her bottom lip she looked around before zipping around a corner and stopping once agin, her eyes falling on a lump of a man leaning agents a building a little way up. Fuck! she thought to herself moving a few steps so she could use some of the shadow's to hide herself from the moon light, witch happened to be smiling at her, enjoining the fact that it was glittering in the sky, cutting down the shadow cover on this side of the old city.

((It's okay man))
Dean had been half-entranced by the view of the ocean and his memories of the lay out of the once-beautiful city, but when he heard the nearing sound of feet on rumble, he straightened slightly, trying to keep his eyes focused on the horizon ahead of him while till trying to figure out where the creature behind the noise was. There was a piece of pipe by his foot, he noticed. If he had to he could use that as a weapon. It was stupid of him to come alone here.
After a moment of waiting, trying to hear the footsteps again and failing, Dean let his eyes carefully sweep the area, trying for casual so the enemy- for he always assumed it was an enemy when he wasn’t sure- wouldn’t know he knew they were there. The shadows were thick in some places, ideal places for hiding and waiting for a weak little human to stroll by so they could pull them in for a snack. Well, Dean wasn’t just going to let himself become a snack, he’d made it this long for a reason.
He thought he saw a figure in the darkness some twenty feet away but he couldn’t be sure if it was a trick of the light or not. Not wanting to take chances, because taking chances could get you killed out here, he picked up the piece of pipe and started towards the area.
